Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop performer. She was in 2007 when she released two singles, as well as an album called Satisfied. After that, she founded the Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. They later released her second studio album called Like a Rose. She has more than 15 years' experience in the public sector including nearly five-year periods within Iowa City. In her role as the Assistant Village Director she is responsible for the Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating grant applications and finishing special projects. The role of Ashley as Riverside's Assistant Village Manager is to support in the daily operations of village services and implement the strategic vision set forth by elected officials. Ashley's roles include municipal planning budgeting, management of staff and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on environmental initiatives. Ashley has the ability to draw on her experience working with a range of community and national institutions. She also has learned about the way that public organizations function. Ashley's lessons focus on public leadership and management from the point of view of a practitioner with experience.
